We're underway!

Psychopharmacology Survey," the first course in our Extended Studies program is open for students, and has been since September 7, 2010, right after Labor Day.

And now our second course, An Instructional Design for Dying," is open as well -- an online environment focused on preparation for your own mortality.

Online Courses Seminar-Style

People are registering and, with one or two exceptions, things have gone smoothly for everyone. We're trying to perform well on all platforms, but some of the newer ones have required a few adjustments.

It's nice to have a real person greeting you in a new online environment -- and in Psychopharmacology Survey you will receive an email from Dr. Bernadette Torrez, a therapist with a doctorate in psychology practicing in San Rafael, California, who will help with any initial questions about the course.

Preparation for dying is not about a single, faraway event. It's about a condition of life that influences everything we do, every decision we make.

This class can be used by groups working together in community or by individuals. It can be used by medical or clinical professionals working with patients and clients or by non-professionals on their own. The topic is your personal dying.
