Description
"Asking
and Telling" is
a set of instructional videos focusing on the
psychosocial
issues facing LGB U.S. military
servicemembers
The
training course includes
didactics and case presentations. Alliant International University has
approved this video training course for a total of 3 CEUs for clinical
psychologists and other mental health professionals.
Who
is the Course For?
The
course is designed
to help prepare clinical
psychologists and other mental health professionals to provide
culturally competent psychotherapy for lesbian, gay or bisexual
servicemembers in the U.S. military.
This
patient population is likely
to grow, given the ongoing cultural shift within the U.S. military
towards an atmosphere of increasing tolerance of diversity, particular
within the area of sexual identity.
