Networks
of Care:
Care
Management
and
Fiduciary Services for Clients and Families
The
effects of aging late in life or certain disabilities are felt deeply
throughout whole families. Mental health professionals are
often closest to the system and see middle-aged adults struggling with
the care of elderly parents, or older clients themselves starting to
need more help.
This
is a nuts-and-bolts workshop about a set of services that many people
will eventually need. The instructors will address concrete
questions you or your clients might have, such as:
--
How do you know
if someone needs a Care Manager and how much do they charge?
-- What is a Fiduciary and what do they do and
what don't they do?
-- What should you ask,
what should you look at, in finding the best Fiduciary for your clients?
-- Who are they working
for and what do they charge?
The instructors
are practicing professionals in the field as well as
experienced educators who are uniquely able to describe a care and
financial management world in the ways that are relevant to therapists
and counselors.
