 Christine Yeh, Ph.D. Mixed Methods Research - Immigrant Youth, Social Justice ~ Web Lecture This presentation describes a set of Participatory Action research projects with both quantitative and qualitative components and a clear focus on new, sustainable policies and practices. Christine Yeh, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Counseling Psychology at the University of San Francisco. She won the 2006 Patrick Okura Community Leadership Award, presented by the Asian American Psychological Association for Outstanding Leadership in Community Service. Her research interests and areas of expertise include Immigrant youth cultural adjustment and negotiations; indigenous healing methods and perspectives; cultural conceptualizations of self, collectivistic coping, and mental health; multicultural school counseling. |
