- The cost for each course is $480.
- The courses will be offered online as Guided Independent
Study with optional telephone meetings for additional dialogue with the
instructor.
- You can take these classes from anywhere!
- Start date for all courses is May 27, 2008. End
date is August 15, 2008.

Are there any advantages to taking these courses
through Alliant?
Yes, there are several advantages to taking these
courses through Alliant's Continuing Education Division:
- The instructors have been designated by Alliant Program
Directors.They are very familiar with our programs and know what is
needed to prepare you properly.
- There is no question that the courses will be accepted by
Alliant as meeting the academic pre-requisites
for admission.
- The reporting will be seamless.You will receive an academic
transcript showing your grade, and we will
also report your enrollment in and completion of the course directly to
your campus Admissions Office
and Program Director. (Reminder: Entry requirements for Clinical
Psychology state that you must
receive a grade of “C” or better; requirements for Organizational
Psychology state that you must
receive a grade “B” or better.)
What is the format of the courses?
The courses are offered online as Guided Independent
Study.All course material will be online using Moodle, an
alternative online learning management system. Although there will be
no face-toface classroom meetings, these are not self-paced classes.You
will be part of a cohort, with all students starting within a small
start-date window, and finishing together.The courses are 2-unit,
upper-division undergraduate level courses.
How can I get help from the instructor?
The instructors for each course will provide extensive
online resources to support your learning. If you have questions, you
will be able to contact the instructor by email and emails will be
answered within 48 hours. There will also be optional telephone
meetings for additional dialogue with the instructor.The instructor
will provide a list of telephone meeting dates and a free call-in
number which will allow you to speak directly with your course
instructor.
What is the cost of each course?
The cost for each course will be $480. Each course is 2
units, with a tuition rate of $240/unit.Tuition is due in full at the
time of registration and does not include the cost of textbooks.
When do the courses start?
Students will have access to the online courses beginning on May 27,
2008 and must access the course by June 10, 2008 to formally begin the
course.
When do the courses end?
All of the courses will end by August 15, 2008.
Are there Required Texts?
Three of the courses being offered have required texts. Learning Theory
has no required text.
