Dr. Villanueva
is a Clinical Psychologist at Robert E. Bush Naval Hospital in Twentynine Palms, California. He is also a Captain (O3), US Army Medical Service Corp (IRR).

In his current capacity, Dr Villanueva provides intensive PTSD psychological treatment to returning Navy Corpsmen, and Marine men and women recently deployed. He works closely with and makes recommendations to Navy psychiatrists and provides psychological treatment for military personnel.

He also screens for traumatic brain injury and works closely with the Traumatic Brain Injury, Neurology, and Vestibular clinics at Balboa and Camp Pendleton Naval Hospitals. In his position, Dr Villanueva recommends and prepares Medical Boards, Limited Duty, Administrative Separation, and Psychological Addendums for active duty Navy and Marine personnel.
