 David Brodzinsky, PhD ~ Online Web Lecture ~ 1.5 Hrs ~ $40 The online web lecture training is designed to meet the needs of working mental health, human service, medical and other adoption professionals and educators, as well as pre and post adoptive parents while meeting continuing education needs and/or pre-adoptive training needs. You work at your own pace to complete the training. The training was recorded from one of our live web training sessions. Our training materials are developed with our Mission in mind: 1) to inform public opinion; 2) promote ethical practices and legal reform; and 3) translate policy into action. The goal of our training is to put research into action. About Dr. David Brodzinsky: Dr Brodzinsky is Professor Emeritus of Developmental and Clinical Psychology and past Director of the Foster Care Counseling Project at Rutgers University. He also was a founding director and served for 10 years on the Board of Directors of the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute in New York City. Currently, he is Research and Project Director for the Institute. For the past three decades, his research and scholarly writing has focused primarily on issues related to the adjustment of adopted and foster children and their families. He is especially well known for his research on developmental and family issues related to adopted children’s adjustment.  About the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute: The Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute, founded in 1996, is a national not-for-profit organization devoted to improving adoption policy and practice. The Adoption Institute's mission is to provide leadership that improves adoption laws, policies and practices - through sound research, education and advocacy - in order to better the lives of everyone touched by adoption. In order to achieve its goals, the Institute conducts and synthesizes research; offers education to inform public opinion; promotes ethical practices and legal reforms; and works to translate policy into action.
