John Preston, PsyD
, is a faculty member at Alliant International University and has also taught at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, Department of Family and Community Medicine.

Dr. Preston is the author of eleven books on various topics including Handbook of Clinical Psychopharmacology for Therapists. He is also the author of Drugs in Psychiatry, a chapter in the Encyclopedia Americana. Dr. Preston is the recipient of the Mental Health Association’s President’s Award for contributions to the mental health community. He has lectured widely in the United States, Europe and Russia.
