Sacramento Friday, February 20, 6:00pm-9:30pm Sat-Sun, February 21-22, 9:00am-6:15pm Using lecture, experiential exercises and live demonstrations and video, this course expands on the material presented in Part I of the course. Participants will learn to apply EMDR in a wider range of situations. Topics to be covered include: using EMDR with difficult cases, inner resource development, advanced use of cognitive interweave and applications of EMDR in other specialty areas. This course completes the Basic EMDR training approved by the EMDR International Association. EMDR: Part I from any EMDRIA-approved instructor is a prerequisite. Upon completion of this second part, individuals are eligible for membership in the Association. Philip Manfield, PhD, is a psychotherapist in private practice in the Bay Area for over 25 years and has trained therapists in EMDR for the past ten years in the United States, Canada, Europe and the Middle East. He is author of Split Self/Split Object and editor and primary contributor to Extending EMDR: A Casebook of Innovative Applications.
