San Diego, San Diego, Sat-Sun, March 21 & 22, 2009 ~ 9am-4pm This two day seminar presents the development and use of the Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood - Revised (DC:0-3R), a diagnostic system for young children that is developmentally sensitive and relationship based. Multiple examples and opportunities to practice diagnosing young children with this diagnostic tool are provided. Comparisons and crosswalks to the DSM-IV diagnostic system are discussed. She was Program Services Manager of Building Blocks Early Childhood Intervention Program at the River Oak Center for Children for several years. She is a national trainer on the DC:0-3R for Zero To Three. She presents extensively on early childhood mental health and has published two book chapters on Ecosystemic Play Therapy with young children. |
