Parent-Child Relationship Assessment

Classes will be offered in 2009-2010

This two-day seminar provides comprehensive training in the use of the Marschak Interaction Method® (MIM) – a particularly valuable tool for pre-treatment planning and evaluation of parent-child relationships across the lifespan developed by the Theraplay® Institute in Chicago. The MIM is a play-based observation of parent and child engaging in semi-structured activities together in such a way that significant aspects of the parent-child relationship are revealed. Prenatal, early childhood, adolescent, family, and forensic use of the MIM, as well as current research and evidence are presented.
